African American Heritage Celebration
The African American Heritage Celebration will be held in the Rotunda of St. Louis City Hall from 6 to 8 .pm. The event is free, open to the public, and will feature an award ceremony honoring three African American St. Louis community leaders. This year's honorees include KSDK-News 5 Anchor Rene Knott, the City of St. Louis License Collector Mavis Thompson, and EncoreSTL founder Effrem Thomas Boudreau Grettenberger.
The African American Heritage Celebration is the first in a series of cultural heritage celebrations held in City Hall throughout 2024. February's event will feature live entertainment and refreshments, as well as a presentation of an Aldermanic Resolution and Recorder's Proclamation to the evening's honorees, who are each invited to speak.

Volunteers! Join us for a special Office Hours Presentation featuring CRCSTL’s Cat Straubinger!
Cat will be discussing “How to Prepare for a Mediation,” giving practice tips on pre-caucusing, phone calls, etc.
This event will be in-person, but it will also be streamed via Zoom for those who can’t make it to the office!
Conflict Coaching Training
This event is for active volunteers who are Rule 17 trained and interested in learning about Conflict Coaching. Through roleplay and explanation, we’ll explore why, when, and how Conflict Coaching is used to assist individuals navigating disputes.
