Which service is right for my situation?
Mediation turns adversaries into collaborators, working together to find solutions. CRCSTL provides the tools and framework for you to meet at a time that works for both parties in a safe, private place. Mediations are facilitated by highly trained volunteers, and helps people find long term solutions by giving parties a chance to speak for themselves and come to a resolution together.
Conflict Coaching training provides an opportunity for individuals to explore options for current and future conflicts with an emphasis on personal empowerment and informed communication. This option is ideal when only one party involved in the conflict is willing to come to the table. You are paired with a trained coach who can help you get the conversation started.
These services are meant to work hand-in-hand. Your current conflict may evolve in a way that changes the service the situation needs. There are times when a clients starts their service as conflict coaching and then it moves into the mediation process if they are able to safely approach the other party about joining in the conversation. Similarly, some mediations turn into conflict coaching conversations. We are here with guidance however your unique situation changes.
