#People4Peace Fundraiser ☮️
CRCSTL kicked off our #People4Peace fundraiser on November 19, 2024. We had a goal to raise at least $8,000 during this single-day fundraiser, and we feel so grateful that we exceeded our goal raising more than $10,000 generously gifted by more than 50 individual donors. Community support helps us provide our services to neighbors in need at low or no cost. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
Just some examples of where the money goes:
$28 provides one student with supplies for the Student-Led Peer Mediation program.
$59 provides 1 of the 8 Steps of Housing Support so people can stay in their homes and avoid eviction.
$118 provides 2 of the 8 Steps of Housing Support so people can stay in their homes and avoid eviction.
$216 provides one training for Student-Led Peer Mediation.
$305 supports one conflict interaction through our Community Case work.
$474 provides resolution of one Eviction Prevention Housing case.
Thank you to our generous benefactors who donated matching funds ensuring each gift was doubled:

Let’s Build Hope
Our Executive Director, Wolf Smith, is known for having brightly colored hair. As part of this campaign, Wolf offered to let the person who brought in the most individual donors select their next hair color. We ended up with a tie between Mary Wheeler and Let’s Build Hope. Wolf headed to the salon for the surprise reveal - orange and purple for a sunset hair moment. 🧡💜
